"I'm Not Going Anywhere" was a song i co wrote with Jimbeau Hinson in Nashville, TN. When Kitti and I began to speak daily after her diagnosis, I thought to send her many of my songs that were recorded by other artist's CD, I recorded on my CD projects, and ones only demoed at that point. This recording was a guitar/vocal demo. Of all the commercial released recordings i sent her, this song stood out alone as her favorite. I often reflect on the song's lyric and wonder why it won her heart in the way it did. When performing this song, I always tell this story and send it out to Kitti. I know she can hear it.
